I enjoy solving problems. I spent many years in the corporate world, managing people and problems as well as complex international businesses. While working, I volunteered at the Children & Family Law Center in San Rafael, California and soon fell in love with the world of family law.
In 2000, I decided to leave the corporate world and attend law school, devoting myself to families and children facing the legal process, with the plan to apply my problem-solving abilities to deeply personal dilemmas such as divorce, custody, reunification, and domestic violence, to name a few. I also served on the legal referral panel for juvenile dependency in San Francisco and served hundreds of parents and children facing the child welfare system. Through all of this work, I realized that most families, regardless of income, face all-to-common challenges: interpersonal conflicts that interfere with family relationships, mental health challenges, substance abuse problems, depression, post-traumatic stress, co-parenting conflicts, and more.
My practice is now 100% focused on helping families and children navigate the sometimes complex and often confusing world of family law, guardianships, domestic violence, reunification litigation, and more. I bring compassion to my work and am dedicated to finding the right resolution for you and your particular family law dilemma. I am accessible and meticulous about ensuring you receive the attention you deserve.
